Bikramjit Singh Majithia, a respected Indian politician and leader, is an eminent figure in the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) political party. He is currently serving as the Cabinet Minister for Industry, Commerce & Employment in the Government of Punjab. He is also the chairman of the Punjab State Council of Ministers. Bikramjit was born on 11th January 1972 in the Majitha town of Amritsar district in Punjab. He was again appointed as the Cabinet Minister for Technical Education, Industrial Training and Employment Generation in 2013. In 2014, he was appointed as the Cabinet Minister for Industry and Commerce, and in 2017 he was appointed as the Cabinet Minister for Industry, Commerce & Employment. Bikramjit has also been actively involved in various social and cultural activities in Punjab. He is the chairman of the Punjabi Academy, and has also been involved in various education initiatives such as launching the Punjab Education Mission and the Punjab Education Awards. He has also been involved in various health initiatives such as the launch of the Punjab Health Mission. Bikramjit has been credited for bringing several reforms in the industrial sector in Punjab. He has played a major role in the development of the industrial sector in the state, and has also been instrumental in providing employment opportunities to the youth in Punjab. He has also been involved in the development of infrastructure such as power, roads, and water supply in the state.
