What is the difference between an atom and a molecule?

  • 0

An atom is the smallest unit of matter, composed of a nucleus surrounded by electrons. Atoms can join together to form molecules, which are groups of two or more atoms bonded together by chemical forces. Molecules can be composed of different types of atoms, and can be either simple or complex in structure. Molecules can also interact with each other in a variety of ways, such as forming chemical compounds.
