7. The population of Northern Timmins is approximately 15,000 people.  

8. The area is home to a number of First Nations settlements, including the Mattagami First Nation and the Wahgoshig First Nation.  

9. Northern Timmins is also home to a number of mining operations, which have been operating in the area since the 1800s.  

10. The area is also known for its logging and forestry activities.
