2. The University campus is spread across two locations – Aston University's main campus is located in the heart of Birmingham city centre and the Aston Medical School is located in nearby Selly Oak, an area of south-west Birmingham.

3. Founded as the Birmingham Municipal Technical School in 1895, Aston University has an international reputation for world-class teaching quality and cutting-edge research.
