1. Bhai Mati Das was a great Sikh martyr who served and sacrificed his life for the sake of Sikhism.

2. He was born in 1670 in the village of Bhai Ka in the district of Gurdaspur, Punjab.

3. He was given the name Mati Das by his parents, and he was known to have a great love for studying and learning.

4. He was well versed in the Gurmukhi language and was also well-versed in the teachings of Sikhism.

5. He was a disciple of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh and was a great admirer and follower of the Sikh religion.

6. He was a great warrior and was known for his courage, bravery and strength during the Battle of Muktsar in 1705.

7. He was one of the four Sikh martyrs who were asked to show their faith in Sikhism and sacrifice their lives for the sake of the religion.

8. He was asked to break a huge boulder into pieces by his wrists, and he bravely accepted this challenge.

9. He eventually died after being brutally tortured by the Mughal soldiers but never gave up his faith in the Sikh religion.

10. His sacrifice is remembered to this day and he is regarded as an icon of Sikhism and an example of true courage and faith.

11. His martyrdom is celebrated on Shaheedi Divas (Martyrdom Day) which is observed every year on the 14th of December.

1. Bhai Mani Singh was a prominent Sikh leader and martyr, who served as the Granthi (scripture reader) at the Golden Temple in Amritsar during the 18th century.  

2. He was born on 10th April 1643 in the village of Kot Bhai, in Lahore, Punjab.

3. He was the son of Bhai Kalyan Singh and Mata Sada Kaur and was the youngest among his four brothers.  

4. He was given the name of ‘Mani’ by Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru.

5. He had a very strong religious and spiritual bent of mind from an early age, and had a deep understanding of Sikh scriptures and the teachings of the Gurus.

6. He was an excellent scholar, and was well-versed in the Sikh scriptures, including the Guru Granth Sahib.  

7. He was a close associate of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, and participated in the Battle of Bhangani.  

8. After the passing of Guru Gobind Singh, Bhai Mani Singh was appointed as the caretaker of the Golden Temple in Amritsar.  

9. He was successful in strengthening the Sikh faith and establishing the Akal Takht, the highest seat of Sikh temporal authority.  

10. He also played a major role in the compilation of the Dasam Granth, the sacred scripture of the Sikhs.

11. He was a great preacher and was instrumental in the spread of Sikhism, especially in the Malwa region of Punjab.

12. He was a great admirer of the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and made great efforts to propagate the same.

13. He was also a great scholar and wrote several books related to Sikhism.

14. He was a great believer in the concept of Miri-Piri, (the temporal and spiritual authority of the Gurus) and advocated that both should go hand in hand.  

15. He was a victim of the tyrannical rule of the Mughal Empire, and was martyred in 1734 on the orders of Zakariya Khan, the then Mughal governor of Lahore.  

16. He was tortured and eventually executed in Lahore for refusing to pay the Jazia tax imposed on the Sikhs.

17. He is remembered as a great martyr and an embodiment of Sikh faith.  

18. His martyrdom is commemorated on the day of Martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Sikh Guruqq.

1. Baba Deep Singh ji was a great warrior and spiritual leader of the 18th century in India. He was born in 1682 in the village of Pahuwind in Amritsar district of Punjab.

2. He was the son of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh and Mata Kishan Kaur and belonged to the Vahir Sikh sect.

3. He was a great scholar and was well-versed in the Sikh scriptures and the teachings of the ten Gurus.

4. Baba Deep Singh ji was a great warrior who fought in many battles against the oppressive Mughal rulers.

5. He was an important warrior in the Battle of Anandpur Sahib in 1705 and the Battle of Sirhind in 1710.

6. In 1734, he led the Sikh forces against the Afghan invaders at the Battle of Amritsar and was martyred while protecting the holy Harminder Sahib.

7. He was a great devotee of Guru Gobind Singh ji and believed in the principle of “chardi kala” or staying in a positive frame of mind.

8. He was an active preacher of Sikhism and travelled extensively throughout the Punjab region to spread the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh ji.

9. He was a kind-hearted man who was always willing to help the needy and was known for his generosity.

10. He wrote several books on Sikhism and composed many hymns and poems in praise of Guru Gobind Singh ji.

11. Baba Deep Singh ji was a great spiritual leader who devoted his life to the propagation of Sikhism and the protection of the Sikh faith.

12. He was an important figure in Sikh history and his contribution to the Sikh faith is remembered and respected to this day.
